Hollingdean Development Trust administers the Healthy Neighbourhood Fund on a yearly basis to support local community groups and projects. Applicants can apply for a grant of up to £400 to run activities in the Hollingdean area for your ideas to become reality. Keep an eye on the website for the next round of applications.
The activity will need to include ways of:
- Increasing active living and physical activity.
- Improving nutrition and reducing overweight and obesity.
- Improving mental health and mental wellbeing.
- Improving sexual health.
- Reducing smoking and use of alcohol and drugs.
- Reduction of loneliness and isolation.
- Supporting healthy starts (children and young people).
- Supporting healthy ageing.
- Improving community support and wellbeing for people near end of life.
