Hollingdean Community Centre Open Day & Hollingdean Development Trust AGM Programme 28 September 2024

2-6pm – Afternoon Tea & Neighbourhood Action Planning, Community group/volunteer info (set community priorities in an informal space)

2-6pm – Growing Hollingdean planting sessions and activities

2-4pm – Crafts corner in small room with Kidzone and Hollingdean Craft Group

4-4.30pm – Hollingdean Development Trust Annual General Meeting

5-6pm – Stay active trial sessions with Julia from Friday Fitness

Brighton & Hove Ageing Well Festival

The Ageing Well Brighton and Hove annual festival provides opportunities for people aged 50 and over to explore new experiences and meet new people. The festival is a celebration of Brighton and Hove as a City in which to age well, to highlight the many activities that help reduce isolation and increase well-being in the older population. The Festival allows event organisers to put on special events that are examples of the year round activities that are available to people looking to meet new people and stay active in body and mind.

Join us for our 2024 Open Day for FREE fun activities, there will be food and community information.

2pm – Have your say about your community with Neighbourhood Action Plans (NAPs).

Meet local community groups, new people and join the activities, arts & crafts and demo fitness classes.

4pm – Our annual meeting of Hollingdean Development Trust.

Hollingdean Healthy Neighbourhood Fund

Hollingdean Development Trust administers the Healthy Neighbourhood Fund on a yearly basis to support local community groups and projects. 2024 applications are now open, closing date 31 October 2024!

Receive up to £400 towards a community project that supports healthy living! See here for more details.
